<description>For the new season of Tosh.0, Daniel Tosh wants to go even filthier than before. Obviously, the only way to do this is to go animated.

<description>Corporate video firm Mainspring and I worked together on animated material that bookended a branding summit for the employees of a major snack food brand. Talking about the theory of branding can be interesting, but also incredibly dry. Some great art direction by Cory Hutchinson, copywriting by Mike Mullen and oversight by Shamus Halkowich turned this beast into something really fun. The actual formatting of the video isn't ideal for viewing on the web, but here are some frames I'm really happy with.

<description>The 48 Hour Film Festival was one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had that involved only 4 hours of sleep over the course of a weekend. For those unfamiliar, the challenge is simple: make a film in only 48 hours, and everyone must work the assigned story elements into the film.

2009 NYC contestants were given:
Character: Bethany Grimes Professional Organizer
Prop: Set of Keys
Dialog: "You're not going to believe what I just heard"

Our randomly chosen genre was: detective/cop drama

I was responsible for all the VFX and the unnecessarily elaborate ending title scene. Our entry actually won for Best Art Direction and Best Editing, but the real prize was the shower I took as soon as it was over.

<description>A series of one-shot spots that never made it to air. Conceived and executed in roughly 48 hours, $1 Remakes was originally named Greatest Moments In Film History ,which was a really boring name. Ari Douthit suggested the name $1 Remakes, and as much as I hated to admit at the time, it's much better. That was the first time I learned that sometimes a catchy name is all it takes to turn a decent idea into a great idea.

<description>Comedy Central has been real good to me. I've freelanced their long enough to work with hamburger puppets (twice), watch Cat Stevens and Ozzy Osbourne duet from 20 feet away (in the name of sanity/fear) and have tequila shots with Doug Herzog (a mensch if there ever was one). Among some of the more soup to nuts projects I detail on this site, this reel is a smattering of the motion graphics work I've done since I started in 2007.

<description>A type based project I did at SVA. The assignment was to animate a children's poem, and I got "What are Little boys made of?" The answer, of course, is snaps and snails and puppy dog tails, which could not be a more random collection of barely related things. I decided to push the whole thing to it's logical conclusion.

<description>A motion design project I did at SVA where we were asked to illustrate the concept of Big vs. Small. We were not required to animate a nearly 2 minute cartoon, but what I ended up with set the tone for the rest of my motion graphics career: make it fun, make it clever and if all else fails, put a cleavage shot in there.

I hope you never look at Pokemon the same way again.

<description>Timberland and Comedy Central team up for the annual Address the Mess campaign. Each year it's something different, and for 2010 we went all out. Timberland recycles plastic bottles to make their shoes; this guy recycles plastic bottles to recreate Hollywood Blockbusters.

I got to design all the puppets and the massive mural of an alien planet, that for legal reasons, is absolutely nothing like James Cameron's Pandora from the movie Avatar.

Directed by Rob Sosin
Puppet maker and Set Design by Joe Cairo
Shot by Lane Savage

<description>What if Wes Anderson's Rushmore was taken over by The Warriors? What if Quentin Tarantino had a thing for penny loafers? What if Hayashida's style bible Take Ivy was the setting for DragonBall Z?

Developed with Dave Beausoleil, Zak Koonce, Kevin Miller, and Ian Urquhart, Nature Boy is the story of St. Edward's, a century old prep-school that over the years has been taken over by warring gangs of students - the most nefarious and dangerous gang of all are the ruthless The Teddy Boys. The only heroes that protect the innocent are a beautiful Guidance Counselor with a temper, a loud mouth girl with a bicycle obsession, the twerpy son of the Principal who's obsessed with US History and a blind transfer student with a secret identity.

Nature Boy is the most fun I've ever had making anything, and someday it'll be the most fun you've ever had watching anything.
